History

Our expertise goes back to the first ever satellite phone call on a civilian aircraft in the early 1990’s as well as the global commercialisation of Inmarsat’s aeronautical satellite communications service.

ADS Aerospace pioneered the use of satcoms on helicopters during the early 1990’s. The valuable operational experience gained has culminated in the development of ADS-100, the most rugged, reliable and compact aircraft satcom capability available.

Our customers include the UK Ministry of Defence, FR Aviation, Pakistan Navy, FAI Rent-a-Jet, Eurocopter, Augusta Westland, Bristow Helicopter’s and the Republic Bank of Columbia.
